SCCEMS Releases Its 2013 Annual Report

Southern Chester County Emergency Medical Services released its 2013 Annual Report today. This report has been developed annually over the past decade as a review for our citizens, municipalities and supports of the fiscal and operational highlights of the past year.

New Paramedic Unit Placed into Service

SCCEMS placed a new MEDIC 94 paramedic unit in service today. The 2014 Ford Explorer replaces a 2012 Ford Explorer that was damaged in a property damage accident in April. The new unit will be based out of the Jennersville station with the MEDIC 94-1 designation.

Chester County Department of Emergency Services Director Colonel Edward "Ed" Atkins passed late yesterday afternoon following a brief illness.
