SCCEMS Awarded State VFCVASGP Grant

- Southern Chester County Emergency Medical Services received official notification from the Pennsylvania State Fire Commissioner's Office that we have been awarded a VFCVASGP grant for $5,264.37 towards the purchase of a new paramedic responder vehicle in 2010. SCCEMS, West Grove and Oxford Crews Meet with Cardiac Arrest Save Victims
NOVEMBER 27
- SCCEMS paramedics, West Grove firefighters and EMT and EMT's from the Union Fire Company of Oxford met with the two cardiac arrest save patients and their families at the New London Township Building on November 24th. SCCEMS Wins 2009 Governors Award for Safety Excellence

Full Time Staff Complete Advanced Stroke Life Support Training
OCTOBER 06
- On Saturday October 3rd the full-time paramedic staff attended the Advanced Stroke Life Support Class taught by Paramedic Supervisor John Pierce. Paramedic Pierce attended the class in 2008 at the JEMS Conference in Baltimore and achieved both the provider certification and Instructor rating for the class.
