SCCEMS Supports 2015 EMS Memorial Bike Ride Ceremony

Southern Chester County EMS-MEDIC 94 was on hand to support the 2015 EMS Memorial Bike Ride which stopped by the Jennersville Hospital on the 4th day of their ride. This annual ride is held during EMS Week and involves over 100 riders pedaling from Boston to Washington DC. DeSimone Scholarship Awarded

The first Dr. Gregory DeSimone Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Danielle Luttrell at a ceremony at Jennersville Regional Hospital. Danielle is a Physician Assistant student at Arcadia University. She was chosen from among almost a dozen applicants for the scholarship. New MEDIC 94 Unit Placed Into Service

A new MEDIC 94 paramedic unit was placed into service this past week. The new unit to be stationed at our Avondale location is a 2015 Ford Expedition. The vehicles was purchased under state contract and modified by 10-8 Upfitters in New Holland. The vehicle has been licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health as an ALS Squad unit.
