Patriot Day is observed on September 11th in memory of the 2,993 people who lost their lives in the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States. Paramedic Gary Hartung recognized for 30 years as a Nationally Registered EMT-Paramedic

Southern Chester County EMS Medic 94 Paramedic Gary Hartung, was recently recognized by the Board of Directors of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) for achieving 30 consecutive years as National Registered EMT-Paramedic. This distinction is an honor held by few paramedics.

Registration open for the 2015 Race Through The Grapes 5k to benefit the Dr. Gregory DeSimone Scholarship Fund

Registration is open for the 2015 "Race Through The Grapes 5k" to benefit the Dr. Gregory DeSimone Scholarship Fund. This years event is being held on October 17th again at the Paradocx Winery on Flint Hill Road. Proceeds from the race go towards the Dr. Gregory DeSimone Memorial Fund which awards an annual scholarship to a Physician Assistant student.

SCCEMS Supports 2015 EMS Memorial Bike Ride Ceremony

Southern Chester County EMS-MEDIC 94 was on hand to support the 2015 EMS Memorial Bike Ride which stopped by the Jennersville Hospital on the 4th day of their ride. This annual ride is held during EMS Week and involves over 100 riders pedaling from Boston to Washington DC.
