Southern Chester County EMS was awarded a $2000 grant toward the purchase of a new paramedic responder vehicle from the Mushroom Festival. The Mushroom Festival organization has been a supporter of SCCEMS over the past several years using proceeds from the annual event in Kennett Square to benefit SCCEMS and many other organizations in the area. Paramedic Brian Casson was on hand at the Mushroom Festival Gala at the Hartefeld National Golf Club to receive the check on behalf of SCCEMS.
