Southern Chester County EMS has achieved the American Heart Associations 2017 Mission: Lifeline® EMS Gold Level Recognition Award. This award is based upon the achievements of care delivered in 2016. In 2016, SCCEMS-MEDIC 94 achieved the Mission Lifeline Silver Level Achievement. This year, with over 24 months of demonstrated success, SCCEMS MEDIC 94 was awarded the Gold Level Recognition Award. It is a shared award with our patient care partners at the Union Fire Company #1 of Oxford EMS, West Grove Fire Company EMS, Avondale Fire Company EMS and the Christiana Community Ambulance.

The care our patients receive is our number one priority. That’s why we’re proud to be among the EMS recognized for performance in the Mission: Lifeline program of the American Heart Association.

This award will be recognized on a national level by the American Heart Association in national publications including EMS World Magazine, national and regional meetings and on the AHA website. Find out more at
