SCCEMS Paramedics Recognized at Annual EMS Week Awards Dinner

On Wednesday May 24, 2017 the Chester County EMS Council, Inc. held its 13th Annual Awards Ceremony to honor outstanding achievements by emergency services providers in Chester County over the past year. Over 300 were in attendance to honor these providers and National EMS Week. At the ceremony, several Southern Chester County Emergency Medical Services-MEDIC 94 paramedics were recognized:
  


Presidents Award
Paramedic Sergeant Tammy Whiteman
In recognition of her efforts to develop and coordinate the EMS Training Consortiums which present annual day-long training sessions for EMS providers and her successful launch of the local St. Baldricks fundraiser to battle Childhood Cancer in March 2017.


Clinical Excellence Commendation
Paramedic Sergeant Alex Christ
In recognition of his exemplary clinical actions during a pre-hospital delivery and neonatal resuscitation.

PreHospital Delivery Commendation
Paramedic Marc Perry
In recognition of his pre-hospital delivery of a baby in February 2017.

Clinical Save Commendation:
Paramedic Kim Harvey
Paramedic Sergeant Don Keith
Paramedic Sergeant Tammy Whiteman
Paramedic Sadye Sardone
Paramedic John Ripple
Paramedic Mike Whisler
Paramedic Mike Gerisch

These clinical save awards were in recognition of a cardiac arrest saves over the past 12 months that occurred in Franklin, New Garden, Penn, Lower Oxford and Avondale Borough.

This year’s slogan EMS Strong – Always in Service. Southern Chester County EMS-Medic 94 providers do this slogan proud every day and we cannot thank them enough for their service.
