The Board of Directors of Southern Chester County held their annual Board meeting on December 10th at the Twelves Restaurant in West Grove Borough. This annual meeting provides for a dinner in appreciation of the efforts of our volunteer Board for the past year as well approval of election and budgetary business. This years meeting also included the approval of a new community Board member starting in 2010, Mr. Chuck Cole. It was also a time to thank outgoing SCCEMS Board member and Board Treasurer Kiran Taunk who has served in both positions since 1999. Kiran has been instrumental in guiding the Board and organization in key financial and human resources decisions and will be missed. The Board approved the 2010 Officers of the Board being Chairman Karl Mehn, Treasurer Mike Reynolds and Secretary Bob Barto. The 2010 Operations Budget was also approved at the meeting, copies of which can be found in the corporate governance section of the website.
