Old time feedback...I was on the task force that established Medic 94, representing St. Joseph Hospital. Historically, I was also a firefighter/squad man with Union Fire Company, Oxford in the early 1970s. I am very proud to see the quality and progress made with the service. I retired from EMS in 2011 after 42 years as a voliunter and career paramedic. In 1997, my mother was treated by Medic 94-3 and transported to Chester Crozier. I continue to follow several of the folk from Oxford, and wish y'all the best in the years to come.

On July 11 the family I was attending needed to have their newborn girl transported to DuPont Hospital. The family and I would like to express our sincere appreciation to Pam Hoadley Paramedic and her wonderful assistants. The transfer was smooth and efficient. The team were especially caring and thoughtful for this family during this most stressful time.
Again special thanks and may GOD BLESS you all for your wonderful work.

Please pass this along to whomever is in charge, Mr Bob Hotchkiss, I presume.
Yesterday, while shopping at Redners in Oxford, I had a hypoglycemic episode. I remember throwing some Lara Bars into my cart with the intention of eating one when I got to my car. The next thing I remembered was regaining consciousness in the back of an ambulance. As a Type 1diabetic of more than 48 years, I'll admit that this wasn't the first time this has happened to me, so when the fog lifted I was coherent to what had happened. I would like to commend EMT Pam Hoadley for her total professionalism in this situation. She was knowledgeable, professional, and in total control. I could not have been in better hands (and, like I said, I do have a basis for comparison in this situation). It was obvious she was well trained. That's to be expected. But she was also very understanding and empathetic to me. Very no-nonsense, very capable, and very professional. In total control. She is to be commended. I'm hoping this email finds its way into her Personnel Record to serve as the basis for such commendations. Thank you , Southern Chester County EMS and thank you, Pam Hoadley. Job VERY WELL done

I recently had to use 911 and ambulance services on July 30, 2017. I am trying to locate the personnel that responded to the call. I want to express my sincere thanks for the efficient way the handled the call. If possible I would like to thank them.

I was perusing the internet and came across this website, and all I can say is, "wow, I'm impressed." Medic 94 has come a long way, and I'm glad to see it's "alive and well." If you click on the "About Us" tab, and then select "History," you'll see a photo of the original crew in 1983. I'm the guy on the far right in the photo. Brings back great memories. In the photo is also, from L to R, is James Goss, RN (Coordinator), Jennie Watson, Steve Greer, Lorna Euler (my older partner!), Donnie Keith, Harriet Abbot, Tom McFadden, Donna Baldt, and yours truly. I hope all of my former co-workers are doing well! If there are any future Reunions, such as a "30th" -- contact me! Sorry I missed the 25th!

Retiring after 40 years in prehospital care. Started as volunteer with Union Fire Company #1, Oxford. At that time (1970) I was teaching high school in Oxford. Went on to become paramedic at Lancaster Osteopathic Hospital, then later was with the Paramedic Institute at St. Joseph Hospital. While there I was part of the task force that founded Medic 94. CONGRATULATIONS on all the positive developments that you have accomplished. I do have some pictures from the original housing with Donnie Keith, Tom McFadien, Melody Poff, Sr. Joan Dreisbach, Bob Broome, Jim Goss and others in them. You have served my family, treating and transporting my mother about 15 years ago. Keep up all the good work. I am proud to be able to say that I worked, at least a couple of shifts, on Medic 94.

I just want to say CONGRATULATIONS to Medic 94 for the PA State Award they received. Bob and his members do a great job and this is proof. I know that it took alot of time on everyone's part to receive this award but it was well worth it. This makes the community know just what Medic 94 does for each and everyone of us. They make sure that not only do they provide medical assistance to people, but they make sure all equipment is in the best condition, including the medic units themselves. Each and everyone deserves a big THANKS for all they do. Keep up the good work.

WOW! Exciting. I am glad to see recognition of EMS persons for the work they provide. I always say that EMS isn't paid for what they do but are paid for what they are willing to do - They are not janitors just because someone hasn't called 911 during downtime. God Bless.

Members of SCCEMS responded to an auto accident in East Nottingham Township on the evening of January 18th. My niece, was a victim in that accident -- pinned in her car. She was sent by Sky Care Helicopter to Christiana Hospital and has remained there, comatose, since the accident. My brother informs me that from the time of the accident until the time of her arrival at Christiana, only 50 minutes elapsed. I want to thank those of you who participated in her care that evening, and also thank all of you for your service and dedication to helping victims like my neice. I am always amazed at the bravery of people in your profession and am so proud to know that you have been instrumental in my niece's recovery. God bless all of you.
